First Finished Knife
Hey everyone, I’m Mike and I’m a chef turned knifemaker from Northwestern Connecticut. I’m looking for some feedback on my first knife, it’s a 8.5” brut de forge chef. I meant for it to be a bit taller at the heel but I got some bad warp in heat treat that needed to be ground out. Looking for critiques/ideas, just don’t tell Geoff about the hand pic. Handle is some curly maple from combat abrasives, blade is 1095 from NJ steel baron.
Looks great, like the forge finish on the spine
