Filling cracks in wood
Just had a customer ship me some beautiful scale material - the only problem is that it’s got a few small and shallow cracks that will probably show up on the final handle. I will be stabilizing them. Here are the questions:
How do I fill the cracks?
Should I fill the cracks before or after stabilization?
He’s okay with them being filled with a color but I only have epoxy...
I would stabilise first then fill cracks with CA glue (super glue). It dries clear and polishes nicely.
