    Hi all
Really boring question - I'm after a new apron to use when knife making, grinding etc....I did have an old leather one which was okay but is now dead. I bought a black canvas one but after showering it with sparks mainly from my angle grinder, it's not in great shape after a few months use. So - any recommendations?
    Cheers

I use suede welding aprons - cheap as chips on AMZN

Cheers Craig. Do they last or do you go through them every few months?

I bought a cheap one from Harbor Freight and have been using it for 5 years or so... Bazillions of sparks later its filthy, but still works! I DID replace the neck strap and tie straps when I first got it though.

Haha. I know that feeling. Before my old one died, my neighbours used to give me really funny looks when I emerged from my garage with my dirty apron on, mask and safety glasses on brandishing a blade in my hand!

I used to tell people that no way was I going to clean the Apron, or all of the good luck would be gone.
